Of Our Father's Silent Night (Horn & Trombone)

Of Our Father’s Silent Night combines the medieval plainchant, Of Our Father’s Love Begotten (“Divinum mysterium"), and the 1818-advent hymn, Silent Night, composed by Austrian schoolteacher, church organist and composer, Franz Xaver Gruber. It is a simple arrangement that focuses on the similarities of the two instruments in a gentle contemplative setting.
